Change: It Starts With Me

They say that young people can’t change anything but I think they are wrong. I know that I’m still young to change so something, but it is not impossible that the change is inside me.

“To change the world, it starts with a single person. That single person has to have the moral and emotional strength to stand up for what they believe in. One single act of bravery in the face of certain defeat can inspire a lasting change on the world.”
-John Roakes

I believe that in order to change the world, I must first change myself. I must challenge or change my wrong doings.

Even though we are still young we have the capability to change something, a change to other people, a change to our community and a change for our nation. I know that we, youth, we have the potential to be a leader, a leader that can lead to your fellowmen.

Once, a man said, “Before doing something, put God first to your hearts and minds.” In order for us to do something good for the nation, we have to think God first and ask for help and guidance

New Year, New Me

“New Year, New Me”, a phrase we often hear on new years. Before a year ends every one of us thinks about out New Year’s resolution, this is use for a change. This is like starting doing something new about ourselves, like having a new hobby, having new body posture, being fat, thin or even small.

I have a story to tell about a man has done his promise. This man is intelligent but his not using his intelligence in doing his school and home works, it always starts on laziness. So, after the 1st semestral period, he was shocked because his grades are really low, he isn’t passing his projects on time. Repentance is always in his mind, so he made a promise to himself, that he will going to study harder, always do words on time and stop the laziness. He always say,”Kaya ko ‘to, kayak o ‘to.” You know what happen? A big change is done to himself because he rewrites his past hobby, being lazy. After the 2nd semestral, a big smile is written on his though a big change has done in his grades.

These new year’s resolutions are great ideas to give people motivation in doing good things about themselves. This should be done within us or within others. Some can’t do what they promise because they don’t want to forget and under write what are they usually doing.

Third Grading Period Has Already Ended

Time really runs fast. its been like how many days has just passed by. and you know what? Third Grading Period has already ended, again.

Again, third grading period is all about HTML tags again, designing a webpage.

I can't mention those days I've enjoyed a lot. What I only want to share to you is the night when we did our project in ICT, webpage design. After those more than 5 hours of sacrifices, we still made it successful even though I didn't work hard on it.

3 grading periods down, 1 more grading period to go. Graduation is nearly approaching, goodbye high school life, but it doesn't mean I will I just disregard this lesson, well, I won't forget those lessons we had during our ICT period.

Essence of Christmas

Everyone of us knows that Christmas is about giving, sharing and loving and that is really true also. You can't elude this when Christmas is approaching or done because it is part of our tradition, you always give something to your friends, your so called "inaanak" and family of course.

Christmas is not ONLY about loving your friends, your family or even your crush ones, but also love of God, the creator.

We are also talking about a love from the past failures or sins that makes you stronger than before!

"You can give without loving but you cannot love without giving."
-Charles Jenkins

Love has to give love, not only those physical gifts.

Christmas is part of our tradition. We should give importance on this, spending your time with your family and friends or even your enemies, actually.

          Although, CHRISTMAS is LOVE.

Save the Earth!

Did you ever hear how earth is polluted? Why we feel this high temperature? Melting of the ice in the North and South poles? Why hurricanes, typhoons, earthquakes and landslides are formed?

           CLIMATE CHANGE…

Everyone knows that our nature is little by little destroyed because of what people are doing. They always burn trees even they know what would be the effect of what they are doing. Burning of trees or even forest produces landslides. People always use vehicles which produce thick smokes that causes the ozone layer becomes thinner and thinner and which make our surroundings hotter. Burning of plastics that produce Chlorofluorocarbons or what we call the CFCs. Throwing garbage anywhere.

Let us always put in our minds that we can still help the earth back into its proper figure. Let us plant more trees. Throw our waste into their proper places. Lessen using vehicle, instead, use bicycles. If everyone will do these daily, I’m sure that there will be a chance that the earth will be normal again.

Everyone Deserves Equality

Everyone deserves equality, even a man or a woman, your friend or your enemy, riches or poorest man, the tallest man or even the shortest one, everyone of us deserves it. There’s no uglier or prettier, richer or poorer, in the eyes of God we are equal.
“Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities.” As we say, men are better than women in every aspect of our lives, we say that they are stronger than women, of course, because men have greater proportion of muscle mass, but it doesn't mean that women cannot do the same work like a man can do. That’s why there is this so called equal rights equal opportunities, so that everyone knows, in the eyes of every person, woman can do the same how a man works.

These equal rights and equal opportunities are effective in order to make all nations unite as one that will lead to a better generation.
